Nowruz
Nowruz, the Persian New Year, is celebrated by different people around the world especially the ones located on the Silk Road. Iranians celebrate the arrival of spring on the first day of vernal equinox, usually 21 March.
One of the beauties of Nowruz is the provisions that begin a month earlier; everything should be clean and every one should wear new and colorful clothes. The whole family comes together while celebrate around a special table in their house. This table called “Sofre-ye Haft Sin” including seven special objects, that begin with the “s” sound in Farsi language. These objects symbolize purity, brightness, abundance, happiness and fertility for the New Year.
After arriving at Shahid Dastgheib International Airport of Shiraz, you will meet and greet Derak representatives. Then, you will transfer to a hotel to rest.
Right after having your breakfast, you will drive toward Marvdasht County (52 km). On your way, you will visit Quarn Gate with the beautiful Sofre-ye Haftsin that is prepared

Today, it’s time to explore the Iranian tradition and culture and have a memorable day full of joy and happiness. You will celebrate Nowruz with local people at a traditional house or a local eco lodge; you will learn about the customs, traditions, activities, foods and sweets.
At midnight, you will transfer to Shiraz International Airport for a departure flight.
